Why are there no achievements for HL2:DM?

Because it doesn't need achievements? Just like any other game doesn't need them.

Hl2dm was mostly a quickly implemented aftertought. That's why.
2-3 guys @ valve made a multiplayer version of HL2 and it caught on. |
