Yes, that was odd. It originally showed up as $3.40 US (66% off $10 US) for me and then a few minutes later was $1.70 US (66% off $5 US).

Usually I miss out on the pricing errors, but this time I got lucky. Steam should reimburse people for mistakes like that, though.

Should definitely contact the authorities, you might not be able to survive now that you've lost such a large sum of money.

It's not pricing error, it's not at all false advertising like i got no feedback from VALVe about my case, but this time is just a price drop. They lowered it, which is ok to do. It's the same time that when you wait for a daily deal of a game, just it's in a shorter range of time.

I just bought it for 1.70$ because i thought i readed the price wrong earlier but finally it was really a price drop? cool!

It could aslo be normal.

Lowering the price of a specific product because they think they haven't got the ammount of sale they wanted to have during the first moment of the sale.
