Questions about Anno 2070 Retail

Hello.

I've got a DVD of Anno 2070, and i want to store it inside Steam Inventory so i can trade it for other goods.
The question is : Can i enter the key on Steam so Anno would end up in my inventory ?

TL;DR : Can you enter Anno key on Steam ?

LE: Found my answer. It seems you cannot add Anno 2070 on Steam, because UBISOFT !

& also because the retail version would most likely be steam powered - thus forcing you to activate it for YOURSELF only.

I know it sucks.

LE: Found my answer. It seems you cannot add Anno 2070 on Steam, because UBISOFT !

Not because UBISOFT but because Anno is not a Steamworks title, simple as that.
