Other games like this on steam that actually work?

So I just found out about this game and did some research and it really looks great. Most other games that seem to use the RPG/RTS thing use cartoony warcraft style unit scaling, so you don't get massive engagements on the battlefield. Rather you get, like, 25 units battling it out.

I was really excited when I saw that this game is based around large scale warfare. But then I read that I have to do stuff to fix it to make it work on my machine. I'm simply not going to pay money for a game that I then have to fix to be able to play it.

So what are some other games that have cool fantasy settings like this and large scale warfare?
