Modern times achivments not unlocking

I get the message in game, but the achievement doesn't unlock.
The standard game achievement's unlocks like they should.

achivements in MT are completly bugged, not only can you not see them( they are unlocked btw) but you can get the same one multiple times(i.e. Office space)

I've pretty much achieved all of the MT achievements many times... they just don't stick.

Yeah, I'm waiting for it to get fixed before I go for the alternate paths in the final mission of the campaign - if you beat the last mission of the campaign and don't have the other "progress in campaign" achievements, it will unlock those for you as well. Pretty cool that they thought of that.

I'm confused as the store page doesn't list achievements for this expansion. Are these in-game achievements or actual full-blown Steam achievements?

Based on other threads, the MT achievements are not propagated back to Steam, they're just in-game.

But the question is, there is an annoying bug with regards to the Modern Times achievements. I played the first mission of Modern Times and completed the "Office Space", "Better than Tenements", "Capo Di Tutti Capi", "Going Green", "Heaven on Earth" and "A Better Tourist Trap" achievements.

I unlocked these achievements and it was bold in colour when I check. But after exiting and replaying Tropico 4 Modern Times, these achievements were NOT bold in colour! This means I have to unlock them again!

By the way, when I completed Mission 2, I unlocked an achievement called "Crisis Measures. Resolve the great Tropican Crisis". Then when I exited out of the game and played Tropico 4 again, I checked this achievement and it was locked! Meaning to say, the achievement reverted back to normal mode. It was not bold in colour or in other words unlocked!

Why is this so? I understand that the Xbox players have no issues with regards to this. This issue comes up with the Steam version of the game. I am not sure whether this issue is prevalent in the retail version of the game.

This seems to be affecting Steam users. I will try to complete all the 12 missions in Modern Times and see if this issue persists.
