I never thought I'd be buying as many games as I have been. I have several unplayed games, and here I am, buying a new one now - Evochron Mercenary - I just think it looks neat.

Well it could be that your 'being nice' with an undercurrent of 'afraid of what I'd do' actually comes through in your persona, even through you may try to hide it. Ever had someone being nice to you that seemed to not want to be or seemed to be fake? Usually something gives it away: body language, tone of voice, something.

Also sometimes it's just the way you look. Apparently my looks can be a bit intimidating so being nice just doesn't come through. Imagine Clint Eastwood doing something nice for you with his "make my day" look. How do you react?

Well I played about an hour of Dead Space. It's fun. I don't hate it.

It was Smelly who told me about turning off Vsync to improve mouse performance, and that worked.
Unfortunately, I was getting all kinds of tearing and artifacts, and my FPS was up to over 200 at times, even with everything cranked up and AA turned on in the Nvidia Control Panel.
So I discovered that the game's Vsync limits it to 30 FPS, which causes severe mouse lag, but using the NCP instead for Vsync gets me 60 FPS which eliminates the tearing and the artifacts, but also the lag.

So that's cool, and thanks again SmellyL!

Although Besthesda buying STALKER would not be cool.

my cousin who is creative/artistic director at ubisfot AND owner of one of the biggest sculture/toys company jsut called me tonight tell me abotu him and me and invite me to go see him in china this sumemr to see his work :O
