How do I know if all my DLC is added?

I hate EA seriously how am I supposed to know if the expansions I bought are installed.

How do I even play them I am just stuck on the normal Sims 3 island how do I play my Katy perry showtime special edition or ambitions etc

There are small symbols for every expansion in the lower left corner of the loader.And the expansions add the content to every neighborhood.Some things like apartment buildings,scrap yard,wash saloons and fire stations need to be added to your neighborhood through the edit mode.

The DLC adds features to the base game. If you have new features, buildings, clothes, actions, activities, etc. then you know you have the DLC installed.

Andorxor's advice is good as well - check the launcher to see exactly which DLC is installed.

What about new neighborhoods though like I have the sims world adventures? How do I go on a world adventure.

Use a phone to "Travel", that will pop up a dialogue asking which vacation your Sim wants to go on.

For new neighborhoods, they will be listed on a dropdown at the game main menu for you to start new games in.
