Exclamation Yes, this game is WORTH every penny. $8.49 for 2 copies is a steal.

Before any of these threads pop up, the sale that Steam is having on the game right now makes it a no brainer. It is an amazing strategy with unlimited replay value (even the single player campaign since nothing is static!) and AMAZING multiplayer.

The game does require that you make another account with their service to play on-line but it is well worth it, and for $8.49 for TWO copies of the game you would have to be crazy not to buy it.

Don't let the "graphics", or lack of them scare you away. With a game like this, the graphics would just get in the way. I have spent over 200 hours on this strategy game according to Steam and honestly, I can see myself spending many more.

The tactical gameplay is unmatched and when you pull off a perfectly executed assault, entirely out-thinking, out-maneuvering, and out-playing your opponent - it just FEELS good.

This game was crafted with love and it shows. Everything from the music, to the story and gameplay ooze with awesomeness. Still not convinced? Check out this YouTube video for more info on the game.

My only wish is that it had a cam snapshot feature so that I could see the agony on my opponents face as I blast his entire team away with a rocket and flank the rest with a shotgunner, ending the game in a few mere turns.

Not to rain on anyone's parade...it is a very good game and I've enjoyed what little I've been able to play of it. However, if you have an AMD/ATI GPU, you are probably going to experience technical difficulties. Of the "oops, my entire computer just locked up" variety.

You can get around them (theoretically, and the game's still pretty unstable) by forcing Vsync through the CCC. Still, the lack of dev support for this issue beyond the bandaid Vsync fix has pretty well turned me off playing the game for now.

Thanks for telling me that. Got a 6870 and was thinking about a purchase until I saw this. Totally off my radar now.

I'm playing with a 6850 and I haven't had any problems at all.

It's a fun game, definitely worth it.

Odd. I have 2 5850's in crossfire and have had no issues with the game whatsoever, and both my cards are even OC'd.

question on 2 copies - I want to buy this game for 2 friends. If I buy it for one as a gift, he gets another copy to gift? or do I get 2 copies to gift?
Good question, I have no idea. I was thinking of picking up a spare for my friends and want to know this as well.

These usually trade pretty cheap on the forums because it was an indie bundle game (available for $0.01)

Dang. I didn't know that. Lol I would have bought like 10 of those bundles, and I wouldn't buy them for $.01 either. I will keep my eyes open for more of those.

One of the two best games of 2011 in my opinion (SpaceChem being the other).

Amazingly satisfying.

No its not. Gameplay is okay but the presentation is boring and bad.

This doesn't seem like a very good deal at all to be honest.

I don't want two copies, and I've seen a single copy go for cheaper.

Too bad I missed the bundle that had it included. Guess I'll wait for it to pop up in another.
