I like this game, but...

Hey!

I like this game, optimisation is nice, graphics are nice, but... Two planes? It's not so much really. Anyway I hope that Microsoft Studios plans to release the real Flight Simulator 11, that has whole world, a lot of big passegner jets (Boeing 747, 737, Airbuses etc.), mod support, and everything we loved from FS9 and FSX. I will gladly give you 70 bucks or more for real FS11. Please Microsoft!

Anyway, I like to fly in this game, physics are nice. This game is just different (spinoff) from real FS, and I'd say it's really nice spinoff. I am hardcore FS player, and I'd rather stick to FSX and FS9, but I'll keep playing this title.

Thanks MS for keeping Flight Simulator franchise alive!

Microsoft canned most or all of their Flight Simulator team. I don't think we'll be seeing another FS game published by Microsoft.

This one JUST came out I don't think they need another one already. There will be loads of plane DLC to come.

This is the next flight sim. Its going to be a more dynamic flight sim with the dlc and all that, but its the last one Microsoft is planning to do.

Exactly, the problem is DLC's...

No free aircrafts at all? I think they should add more free content too... DLC's are the worst nightmare of today's games.

DLC's can be free.. they might offer basic aircraft that are free. They havent announced much on their future plans other than the alaska expansion at this point. And DLC is not the worst nightmare. On alot of games it brings new life to the stale gameplay or maps.

That Stearman was free...you got it when you signed up for Live. You get a plane with the Hawaii expansion.

You got two free aircraft. Icon and Stearman. What more do you expect for free? It cost's millions of $$ to make these games, yet you expect everything for free?

Even with dlc of which I would never purchase a single aircraft for $6~+. The only thing I would be interested in is a pack of aircraft bundled at a reasonable price. By the way, if your thinking well you should be happy to pay that price because the game is free! no just no thank you.

You arent just purchasing the aircraft. You're purchasing the ability to do cargo and passenger runs. You're purchasing more challenges.

I think the RV-6 comes with the Hawaii pack (not the bundle, but just the 20$ pack itself.)

maybe your right ?

i played for about an hour, bought the $29 bundle.. flew some more, and unlocked the RV-6 at the bottom end of the first island.

i havent actually flown any of the hawaii pack yet, saving it all for when i finish the first island.
i just assumed that since it was unlocked on the first island, that its not an expansion plane?

Second:
UMAD? Or don't believe me?
If you go to Awards List you can see many hints about this, like the Award by transporting 10,000 passengers. How do you think you'll unlock this? 5,000 transport jobs with Icon? DUH?
