Most of us know what "Gameplay stats" are,so you don't need an image.

No,you cannot delete it.

Obviously,if you could,it could create potential problems.

1. You play 60 hours of Modern Warfare 3.
2. Delete 59 hours and 50 minutes.
3. Go to Steam Support, ask for a refund.
4. Abuse the system.

You mean Steam Support.

Why would you ask Steam Support to delete your gameplay stats?

Your wasting their time, bud. They have a butt ton of tickets to deal with, and you want them to bother deleting your gameplay stats.

This really isn't gonna affect you in any way, other than showing the amount of time you spent playing a particular game.

I'm questioning why you even bothered to even make a thread about it.

It does not make sense asking steam to delete your game play time. I also don`t think steam will do that.

But you reset gameplay stats, I lost over 800 hours on CSS back in 2004.

There were no gameplay stats back in 2004.

They don't even give refunds except for when one wishes to cancel a pre-order or for very rare cases (and they rarely give refunds out in those cases), so I don't see how that can be abused.

What if the person creating the ticket says that he cannot play the game due to a crappy computer or something?

Steam support staff will look to his gameplay stats and how long he has been playing the game and if you can adjust your own gameplay stats, this CAN be abused.

Of course, it's not too hard to track the true gameplay internally, and show the adjusted game play to the user. Hypotheticals usually end up in the weeds because not all options are considered -- only the ones that suit the argument.

For now, there's no way for users to edit game play stats. I don't think there will be in the future; there's not much value in it.

Can´t you at least let us hide gameplay time alltogether, without having to set the profile to private (because if you do, you loose almost everything else related to the community also). Every single community site out there let´s people customize what they want to show on their profile, so it´s really not too much to ask that Steam also do it?

Probably me forgetting that, I left steam 2005-2011, and assumed it'd show my hours.
