log in to 2 computers at a time
Ok, right now I am downloading Team Fortress to my laptop. It would be really great if I could download the game on my laptop, while playing on my desktop.
If Valve is concerned about people account sharing, only let one PC launch games. |

Downloading games and then going into offline mode would mean a lot of people could play the game
They already said you can't login to 2 PCs for security reasons and it's better the way it is now |

I'm assuming these two computers are on the same network?
Why not just copy the files from the PC to the Laptop and save the whole 10Gb download? |

To elaborate on cylon's post, just share your steamapps directory on the source PC, then open explorer and go into network and copy whatever game you want from the share to the laptops steamapps directory, you can do this while playing even.
If it's not on the same network, copy the game to a usb/external drive. |

Even if one of your computers is a laptop and happens to change networks from time to time, simply ask to re-authenticate every time networks change. |
