ability to play games offline

i would love to see the ability to play singleplayer games offline without opening steam. this can be useful if you put in a special steam key like for the login to computers to validate it.

This would make the Steam DRM pointless. Offline mode for me has worked quite well on plenty of games. While there are people who do have problems with it there are those who can use it just fine.

Some games you can play without opening Steam, just run the exe from within the Steam folder structure.
