Okay ... so yeah, 5pm UK time (GMT+1) on Saturday.

bilbyc0m is organising a ladder tournament for Sunday so it's unfair to try and do both on the same day.

I'll probably be online sometime around 4-4.30pm my time so just try to be online when it says I am and eventually you'll get an invite from someone (this goes for everyone, really).


Also guys just bear in mind that this is as such a 'test session', hence why I'm only doing 3 or 4 races of a certain playlist type. This is so in future, it helps myself and others to recognise what particular things they enjoy and what proves popular, and the next sessions I can look at just doing the playlist modes and stuff that people like.

So, if there's a few things you don't like ... just bear with it. I'm sure people will enjoy most if not all of it anyway; the shield/repair-less races are insane as hell.

I'm aware that according to some xbox games (i.e. Halo Reach) I am apparently not a good host for games ... despite having 50m/bit downstream/5m/bit upstream. In other words, if I recognise I'm having problems having people connect to the session, I will need someone to run the session for me ... which would mean following the rules I set up. I probably won't have problems because I might just DMZ my desktop PC on the evening but just in case if anyone can offer to run the session as a 'backup' then I will appreciate it.

Most people use Xfire to communicate whilst playing.

That's actually a good thing to mention, I guess ... everybody should be on xfire or something, or at least enough people to relay what's going on between races in case someone forgets about the power-up list changes.


And speaking of those I'll update the OP with all the relevant information later tonight.

Would be also cool if as many as possible Players can record the Races and upload them =D
And can you bring up a final Post with all Informations about the Races? (Which Mods and when they are allowed and all Players beeig up for this!)

I'm liking this. I would like a race where the power-ups change, once someone has run over it. Or if the power-ups is randomized. Don't know if its possible. Would be fun and also very difficult because you never really know what power-up you will get.

There's an option to make power-ups randomised, but the option is only for a 'literal' random ... there isn't an option that makes power-up placement random at the start of a race, but so when you pick one up it gets replaced by the same one (you pick one up and a random one replaces it -_-)

It's on my list of possibilities though (a sort of random spam-them-up playlist since I'll probably disable Nitros for balance issues) but I'll worry about that next time.
