Is there a way to turn off center player names in TF2?

This is driving me nuts. It makes using the scottish resistance 10x harder when there's people running in front of my crosshair. Is there any way to turn this off?

Same reason but for the sniper rifle.
See the tiniest part of someone's head, you get a massive nametag.

Don't think you can turn it off, but you could download a custom HUD that either moves it or removes it. I don't use any so I can't recommend one for you, but it's an idea.

In advance options you can move it to the bottom of the screen as far as I remember.
