JE Won't Install Through Steam

When I try to install Jade Empire through Steam, the preparing files window pops up, but nothing happens and eventually tells me the connection has timed out.

JE is the only game I can't install on Steam. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a DRM installation limit I'm unaware of? If it helps I'm installing it on a 32bit Windows 7 PC.

Having the same problem, just tried installing it today, it just says preparing files, and then says an error has occurred.

It's working again..!

I wonder why. The connection time-out problems aren't new for me. I've only successfully installed the game maybe twice since purchasing it, but I never had time/the urge to look into the problem.
