It's not as convenient as Cloud, but you could just copy your save file between computers. Back in my day, we hiked 15 miles in 3 feet of snow just to copy our saved games.

Their in your My Documents folder under Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock at least that's where they are on Windows XP.

I totally agree with you, Steam Cloud should be there at the launch. Implementing support for it dead simple, and there simply isn't reason not to have it (Well, *almost* dead simple, we failed to activate the cloud support at the launch of Rochard )

I play using at least 3 computers (home, studio and work) and I've learnt to appreciate cloud saving. It's amazing how only few games actually implement it in Steam.

There is a workaround for lack of Steam cloud support (works with any game):

1. create a Dropbox account if you don't yet have one and put the Dropbox folder anywhere on your hard drive (i.e. c:\dropbox)
2. Download and install Link Shell Extension if you haven't already done so.
3. Move your LoG save folder from your profile to your dropbox folder (i.e C:\Users\Sampsa\Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock -> c:\dropbox\Legend of Grimrock)
4. Drag and drop the Legend of Grimrock folder back to Almost Human folder using right mouse button, and choose "Drop Here.../Junction". This will create a junction point in your Almost Human folder which actually is located elsewhere in your system (yes, it can be also on another harddisk)
5. Play as normal and let Dropbox sync your save files!

By the way: I got Rochard about a month ago (didn't know the game until there was the deal) and i wondered why there is no cloud support. You could convince your Recoil team to implement it, this would be nice! ... hmmm and you could make a sequel, this would be even better

I would suggest going to the Almost Human forums on their site and posting about it there. I'm sure they check the Steam forums, but they are very active on their site forums.

Also, I agree that just about every game should have cloud syncing.

Its for me wery strange that games dont have it .... sometimes I giving up the game just because it does not have this option.
I play at work and at home and do not want to play with Dropbox or other bypass.
