Stellar Impact various issues (official dev answers)

We are currently working on fixing technical issues related to Stellar Impact.

1) Keys activation:

On STEAM the "DLC1" key activates the core game. This one should be renamed very soon.

Other keys respectively activate the support ship / the carrier / the artillery ship. Naming issues we will hopefully be quickly fixed.

2) Confirmation emails:

We cut the email confirmation process that doesn’t seem to work correctly. In order to play the game, simply register at the following address and you should be able to login the game:

3) Website too slow:

The site take a long time to load pages. We are currently working on fixing this issue. To register directly try to get to the registration page at the following address:

3) Issue with the game manager:

When a player start a tutorial, it freezes the game manager for a few seconds. You then must close the game manager window and reopen it. This problem should be resolved very quickly.

4) If you can't login:

You just have to wait 2/5 min after clicking confirm (one time) and you will enter the game.

Once again thank you for your understanding and your indulgence, we’re very small indie. All those problems will get fix very quickly.

Any idea why i cant register on the official forums?

I fill out the form and i get the question at the bottom:
"Where the battle of Stellar Impact takes place ?:
This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots."

I answer space, as thats where the game takes place, and i get wrong answer? Am i that stupid? I tried Espace aswell, thinking thats the french word for space..

Please advice

The tutorial issue making the game manager freeze for a few seconds should be fix now.

We're making progress on the website everything should go back in order really soon.

Game does not let me log in. Tells me I am logged in already, and I should retry in a few seconds, or contact the developers, which I did hereby. Hope you guys fix this soon, and add AI bots for singleplayer.

Dilligaf: I had the same issue earlier, i think its just a matter of waiting for a timeout to occur on the server, in other words, wait a few minutes and try again..

The "you are already loged in" is getting a little old. . . even if you log out then quit you get: "you are already loged in". .

For me its DLC4 key not DLC1.
Also the DLC keys I got are saying invailded when I try to enter them after the screen been hanging for about 5 mins.

Also in my DLC I got DLC1 2 Support Ships and 1 DLC4

I got a new problem here.

I was able to log, then I left the game. I had the " Already loggin " problem, but it disappeared. Now, when I click on " Validate " to log in, nothing happens.

I'm having the same issue as the above with logging into the game... I'm beginning to have second thoughts about spending money on games that have kickass trailers, and then fall short in every area not shown in the trailer...

Umm... you might want to fix that problem... Have you any idea how many people will stop playing a game because it takes forever to load/login? Unless you want to lose most of your player base, you might want to make the login system a priority...

Also, last night the login was instantaneous... this morning, I'm still waiting 5 minutes later for the login crap to get processed.

-EDIT- Well, it looks like I'm still stuck at the login screen 6 minutes after initially posting this... *British accent* So I must say, your client fails, good sir. */British accent* FIX IT!

I'm curious as to if you work a job or not. But do you like your boss to hover over you and yell, "FIX IT NOW!". Does that motivate you to want to help people? Does that make you happy to do what you are doing? Since when is it acceptable to yell at people? I, too, am American and have entitled tendencies. They released yesterday and were probably the most excited they have ever been, because they might make it. They didn't have a massive player base to test this. A free weekend would have been fruitless with some of the bugs we have encountered. No one would have bought it. So here we are at the mercy of the people who "stole" our 8-10 dollars...

I'd be nice and courteous.
