connecting to server via webpage

does anybody know the html link syntax to load CS and join your server?


for example like

<A HREF="steam://css.w9y.us">Click here to join the server</A>

????

css.w9y.us would be the ip of my server...

and when they clicked it... it would automatically load up CS:S and join my server


anybody know that syntax? want to add it to the clan website (www.w9y.us)

for anyone interested, the syntax is as follows:

for a simple link it'd be:

<a href="steam: &quot;-applaunch 240 +connect css.w9y.us:27015&quot;"> loadit </A>

(if you hit quote to this (at the bottom of my post) then you can see that the " " before -applaunch and after 27015 are actually

& quot ;

but the forums display it as a " )



where css.w9y.us is your server IP and of course the port following it...

the port number is important in this case, it will not work without it...


but thats it...
