Should I play each of the three games in a specific order?

Hi.

I have Hacker Evolution Untold, Hacker Evolution, and Hacker Evolution Duality, and I intend on playing them in that order, as I think that's the order they were released in. I am currently in the second level of Hacker Evolution Untold, and I am enjoying it more than I did Uplink. Would the developer, or anyone with a solid information source confirm that the games should be played in that order, or that it makes absolutely no difference at all?

How badly have I ruined the experience if I've played Hacker Evolution Untold's levels 1 and 2? Would you recommend that I quit it now and begin with Hacker Evolution?

Thanks Robert. You should get the release dates for all your games checked at Metacritic. It's where I got them from to decide the order to play in, and they're incorrect.

Since I've been wondering the same, and since I want to play them in order: This has probably been asked countless times, but will the original ever get a Mac release?

This is *unofficial* info, but since supporting the original game engine which is 5 years old makes no sense, but the are fans of the game, we will port over both games (the levels) to the new Duality game, as a DLC.

With the new dlc, i.e. the original (or is it both the original and untold) being ported to the Duality engine, has the order in which they should be played changed. Should I play HE or play it in the HED and not start HE at all? Kinda confused.

It's up to you if you play Hacker Evolution or the INCEPTION DLC first.
The DLC is not an exact one-on-one port. There have been some changes made, new stuff added, etc ... to accomodate for the new GUI and new Console
