Will this be on sale?
Due to the release of the Witcher 2 enhanced edition.

No
If it was going to be on sale then it would have been put on sale when the Witcher 2 was. |

There's a chance every day of it going on sale.
Do you feel lucky? |

Odds are if its not on sale now it will be sometime within the next 6 months. I believe I have seen it on sale at least once or twice since December when it was $2.50 for the Holiday sale.

To get the Witcher 1 on Steam you have to buy it on Steam, you do not get a key from GOG.com. At the time of this post The Witcher 1 is $4.99 (£3.15) on GOG.com which is an amazing deal. |
