short circuit fix
Its much better to use now! So much fun to run up to a soldier and nullify his projectiles while he stands there like "wtf just happened".

I didn't try the new Short Circuit yet, but it definitely needed a buff. I hope it's more viable now, I still think the concept is pretty cool.

Today I was playing on gorge, holding down a sentry nest. An ubered demoman jumped into the open and started setting up a trap on my nest. Whipped out my trusty SS and the trap disappeared and the uber ended. BOOM! The weapon is useful, but only for turtle engis.

I might start using it also, but if Valve could change the metal cost to "insert number here" in order to have 5-6 shots, and having 0 metal at the end of those shots I would use it all the time, I hate ending all my shots and having some metal left

I say let's see how it is now, it was pretty good before for defense, and being able to clear through your buildings should give a lot more bang for your "buck". I think reducing the metal cost too much or allowing a refund would be too powerful, as a turtling engie would be super difficult to take out.

Perfectly balanced compared to the Pistol. Godawful compared to the Wrangler, but is that the Short Circuit's fault? No. It's like comparing the Ambassador and Enforcer.

Thank you valve for at least having a go at fixing the short circuit!..
maybe they do acctually hear our cries on these forums. i'm happy that they've fixed one of the major problems but it still needs faster weapon switching at least. |
