Just wanted to check in to let you know the issue is fixed and the proper files are now in place. Depending on where you live in the world, it may take up to a couple of hours to start working for you, but most of you should see things start working much sooner than that. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience--as with most errors, there were a few issues which, in combination, led to this outage, all of which, I might add, were on the Steam side. Hey guys,
Get it while it's hot. There is one more issue that we've found which will require us to take down the demo temporarily. Download it now if you can, otherwise, there will be a brief outage while we fix another issue. There will be no changes to the content--this is purely due to a Steam network issue. I managed to get one playthrough before it disappeared from my Steam list (after a Steam restart because it was saying I wasn't online)... IF you have it, DON'T restart your Steam... EVER!

I have the same issue. It says the demo is no longer free once i try to play it. Then it seems to just delete it instantly and then i cannot download it again from the store.

Doh too late, restarted steam, Demo is no longer listed, and I can't redownload it. Its still on my HD though but running the exe just brings me to the store page for sniper elite v2.

Got the download to work but when it was done it disapeard from the games list. And trying to launch the exe from steam common folder only opend the store page in steam for sniper elite v2.
Uninstalled it and now nothing happens whatsoever when I try to download it again >_< GARGH! owell... maybe later
