stock melee weapons

I think stock melee weapons need to be updated to be a little more unique some of them are now useless compared to the other available weapons.

some quick and lousy thoughts

bottle - extinguish self on taunt 30 sec cool down
bat - alt attack reflect projectile, excluding milk and jarate
bonesaw - slow enemy 20% on hit
fists - taunt attack 1 second faster
shovel - taunt does 20 damage but causes 30% sentry damage resistance for 8 seconds.

I dunno try to contribute and maybe someone will like your Idea.

I think that the new melee weapons should be adjusted to the old ones, not vice versa.

The stock melee weapons are the average, not the new ones. The new ones should be made less useful, not the other way around.

Umm...unlocks aren't supposed to be upgrades. They never were and still aren't, hence why they usually give downsides like half clips or less damage.

FYI, many non-stock melees are already useless compared to other melee weapons. I don't see why you feel the need to update just the stock melees.

anyone have any suggestions on how to make the unlocks worse weapons then? Would changing all of them to make a few obsolete weapons better in comparison be justifiable?

Third Degree:
+20% damage taken when out

Amputator:
-Taunt is longer

Vow:
-50% damage

Ubersaw:
On miss: -10% uber

Axtinguisher:
Only mini-crits burnin' guys.
