weapon drop problem?

hey i was on my 2 alt accounts and i just left it on an idle server and i hadn't touched my 2 alt's in 1.5 weeks.

from when i went to sleep to when i woke up around 6 hours there was only 1 weapon that dropped. It was the same for both of them. i tried the usual disconnect, relog, and check mannco store nothing made the weapons come up.

did they change something about the drop system or is it having problems?

I have been idling loads of accounts for the last year and never had a problem until this last time. Half a dozen of my accounts got 1 or 2 weapons each.

Must just be a fluke. Better luck next week!

did you forget the 10 HOUR ITEM DROP TIME CAP.
after 10 hours of idling you do not get anything.

i know of the 10 hour idle cap but it resets every wednesday night to thursday morning and i haven't idled on them since the friday before last

There is some kind of issue since the updates last week for some people it seems. 0 items is not random. And it is not just about idling. My account has been getting drops since Thursday, my wife's accont has gotten none.

Why did you left them in a idling server? Why not in offline practice?
Maybe the server lost connection to the drop server, thus granting no drops. (Main issue of idling in a remote server)

Haven't touched my 2 alt accounts in a month, tried yesterday, and today for 10 hours+ each. Nothing.

Same for my friend. None of his 3 accounts gets anything. ZERO.

So yeah, something is wrong.

Not so much idling on my part, but I played on my alt account for easily 2 or 3 hours, got one drop (after the drop reset Thursday too). What happened to the guaranteed drop in 40-60 minute intervals?

ye my accounts only received 2 weapons each maybe valve found a way to end idle ? dun dun DUN!

Happened with a friend of mine too. He got only 1 item. The usual per week is something between 6-12 items. Something is definitely wrong and it need to be addressed to the TF2 team.

Same issue here. Hit my weekly cap by Friday, no issues - got about 8 items.

Played with some friends over the weekend, who hadn't played since the weekly reset, and they got absolutely nothing.
