Torchlight II coming very soon

Given that 'ideally' Torchlight 2 won't be released until a month after Diablo3 launches, the appearance on the registry is promising, but not correlative of any up coming release date.

Many games simply rot in the registry for months before being released as well.

But given the PR blitz going on lately, I suspect we should see a July release date.

Whoever manage the release date for Touchlight II should be fired. The game should have been release last year well ahead to D3. Instead they going to release it about the same month as D3. If Touchlight II fails you know who to blame.

D3 is already subpar, there's not much competition.

Even *if* that were true, which a lot of people disagree with. It's still going to sell like hotcakes, and it will still overshadow Torchlights release if released too close. And that's still gonna happen even if it's a bad game, based on Diablo's history/hype and Blizzards rep alone.

I'm not disputing it's there. Simply that, implying it's appearance on the registry means it's release is 'soon' is a fallacy. Even the devs have said one month after Diablo 3 launches is 'ideal'. At best it's probably 2 months away. That can be 'soon' depending on your time frame reference.

I really like Torchlight and i would buy to 100% Torchlight 2, but there is Diablo 3 which comes out on 15th May...

when i am done with diablo 3 i give it maybe a try , i bet then i get it already for 3-5 € Steam (sale)

Oh boy where do I start?
- I need to be online even in Single player. If I lose connection to the server (happened a lot this weekend) I get reset to the last checkpoint which might be several (20+) minutes away.
- But it saves the achievements because Blizzard knows what is really important in their games....
- I hate the graphics looks like it was smeared all over with the remains of the Shell-accident.
- The new skill system is strange (and I tried to phrase that kindly)
- And what really threw me off was the WoW-Log-Out(TM). 10...9...8...7...
