Cannot talk to the Fisherman?

Well, I've collected three of the four map pieces, and when I use hints on the cliff, it tells me to go talk to the fisherman at the wharf. The problem is, whenever I go to the wharf and right click on the fisherman, the only option I get is "look," which yields nothing but a "nice." from Guybrush. Is there an event flag I missed somewhere, or is this a glitch? Either way, does anyone here have a solution?

Edit: Oh brother... I only needed to left click on the pier to talk to him... Never mind.
