New patch bugs ?

Magicka has been running fine, but this last patch with the reddit robe just made it worse... I can barely get through a chapter without something happening.. It is just terrible anyone else having issues ? My friend is having the same issue as mine

After the robe appeared, my friend and I can't start an online "Stars" game. Just hangs at the progress bar.
