In the email I received from Get Games - both codes were identical. And Steam will not accept it.

I'm also in the US but Steam will not accept the activation code.

Talk to GetGames guys. I am also purchased it from them in the States, and no issue at all over here. I'm just waiting Steam loosen the greyhounds today!
