Versus survival and more?

So next week is VS again (go look at twitter), and "more". Any thoughts as to the more part? Maybe the release date for cold stream?

Hopefully VSS proved popular enough in their stats to make a permanent return, certainly seems odd to rotate it back round so quickly. I'm glad though, put a good few hours into it, was fun.

As for more, it's got to be a DLC date.

Perhaps another slew of map updates? I'm not too excited, but it'll probably be something just nice.

I think we can expect another vague "We will be releasing more information soon, and when we have a date we'll make sure to let everyone know right away".

I'm an Xbox player mostly cause Steam has some horrible issues with my computer so I'm really hoping for some information on the Xbox release. But I'm keeping my hopes low.

I would not count on VS Survival having any staying power. Remember, everyone thought Realism VS was going to be the ♥♥♥♥ when it was added to the game and look how well that turned out.

Updates to Left 4 Dead 2 have been released. These updates will be applied to the XBOX at a much later late.

Mutation: Versus Survival

- Removed Jockey Bug
- Removed Damage Amplifier
- Removed Infected Friendly Fire except for Tank
- Added water slowdown
- Added gear slowdown
- Added T2 movement slowdown
- Fixed Support for sv_pure
- Reference Source TV
- Added Chetf, Gabe and the Midnight Riders as Cold Stream Unlockables provided they get the new achievement 'Pistol and a river' in which the survivors survive the Cold Stream campaign on Expert with only pistols, only throwables.

- Reference turning the Last Stand into a hybrid non canon campaign
- Reintroduce Fire Hunter Damage
- Reintroduce Tank Parking
- Announcement of L4D1/L4D2 beta DLC for the cheap cost of 59.95. For this you get to play with all the classic skins from both betas as well as the maps in their beta form
- Introduction of the 'eye in the sky'. People who monitor all Valve official servers for foul play, griefing, DOSing, anything suspicious that can and will result in potential life time termination from Steam and/or criminal prosecution from anywhere from 5 to 25 years in prison for crashing a L4D2 server or griefing players in any mode more than 3-5 times a day

- Announcement of Infection DLC aimed at adding the mysterious 7th SI as well as the new uncommon common called the Seeker. A single mighty strong common infected that can single handidly pin down a solo rushing survivor with moderate damage and only spawns based on distance/common placement, etc
