Stuck right at the start?

Think there's a bug somewhere near the beginning... I've done every quest in and around the starting town, and the only icon on my map is the guy at the boat who won't talk to me anymore...

Last thing that happened was the sister challenging me to find a treasure in the cave... I've been in and out of that place five or six times now... Gotten to the point that I can two-shot anything there with a couple fireballs... Tried digging in that little lake near the chest... Nothing...

I assume something is supposed to happen... Am I doing something wrong, or is the game messed up already?

Hi Xentor, I don't think this is a bug. The game was released a few years ago and tens of thousands of players were/are playing it which means that we would know about such a bug already.

What active quests do you currently have in your questlog? Both in Active quests and Hero's notes—the overarching goal is regularly updated in the Hero's notes and sometimes you have to go where this goal directs you because you have no other quests active.

At the end of the "treasure hunt" something bad happens and your uncle should direct you to Prepis, the healer. Also, I'm not sure if you went into the right cave—there are two caves on Leros. The first one in the (more or less) north-east corner and the second one in the south-west corner of the map (not far from the place your sister challenged you to look for the treasure).

Ouch... Well, I feel pretty stupid now

Thought I'd scoured the entire island, several times... Guess I missed a corner.

.... Ohhhh... I see... Just found it... I had seen that a hundred times since the first time I did that thing over there, but didn't think to look closely again...
