fm 2012 not responding

when i click continue to advance in game it says not responding at the top of window. i am playing game in windowed mode on laptop 2.2 ghz 6gb ram any advice please.

Are your drivers up to date?

The game is generally very stable so, other than your drivers, the only other thing I would suggest is to verify the game files. If the problem persists then visit the official support forum at sigames.com where they are normally very helpful.

ive tried to contact sega and si games no reply and steam keeps saying contact sega support its really annoying

I'd make sure nothing unessesary is running on your PC, run a spyware check. (if you havn't got anything, spybot and CCleaner would do for free)
Make sure nothing is connecting to the internet.
And as has been suggested, get the latest drivers for your model laptop.
