Warning! On beating Overlords!

I took down the overlord on my 1st continent at tier 3 and it locked the continent at tier 3...just thought I let my other glyphbearers know.

Does it matter? I thought you usually go to a new continent after beating the overlord?

My guess is there are people who like to explore the old continent first. For those people (perhaps myself included) the difficulty will be always the same if they don't move forward.

Beating overlord at tier 3? I think you should up the difficulty, since the Overlord is always locked at tier 5. You shouldn't be able to take him that early on..

Does that lock deep dungeons to T3 or do the deep dungeons keep progressing like normal?

They progress.

Though why you'd want to stay on the first continent after you beat it is beyond me. There's literally nothing there to do anymore and the next continent will always have new stuff.

Find a cubby hole, snipe overlord, run from fire breath...rinse repeat...took about 5 minutes and 2 trys but I did it

Not all boss rooms have cubby holes, you got lucky.

Since I have your ear I hate your "Pursuit of Perfection" missions...truly annoying...

I get that. Not everyone does. But, part of the reason we have so many mission types (and are working on more) is because we don't expect everyone to like every type of mission. We've made the game so that outside of the fist type (boss tower), you really don't ever HAVE to do any mission type. Make sure you are upgraded to at least ver. 1.007 as well, because that does an even better job of mixing the mission types around to help ensure you don't have to do types you don't like.

I like the pursuit of perfection missions... but I run a high stealth build.

Although, the option to disable Ride the Lightning without throwing it out would be useful. +Scratch that, 1.007 takes care of it.

It was mostly because they were always my secret mission type. That and the ones with the meteors falling out of the sky. I like the meteor falling out of the sky quests except that its 100 meteors, I think this takes way to long. Other then that its the game I'm playing most right now. Damn you for your game that sucks up all my free time. And I'm really looking forward to more content.

I did it at tier 4, but I think if you do it at tier 5 you'll get a small amount more damage resistance(if I understood it correctly) which is probably useful against the overlord.
