How to chat in multiplayer

I just want to try out multiplayer but quite dissapointing ,
Any key like 'T' to type something and chat in game?
How to mute noisy player in game?
Are there coop mode play through the missions?

I think the answer is just no, seems the develop team put all the efforts on single player only. Or they put their attention on Dead Space 3 ?

I have never encountered something like a chat function in Dead Space 2 Multiplayer. But muting players should be possible. This game is mainly meant to be played in Singleplayer, the Multiplayer is nice but not that good. There is no coop mode.
