Synchronize PS3 save file to PC

Hey

As I understand it you should be able to continue playing Portal 2 on your PC from your current save from my PS3 through the Steam cloud service.

I cannot get this working. I do not find my Portal 2 (ps3) save file on my PC through steam. The curious thing is that all my achievements from when I played on my PS3 is updated on the Steam client (PC).

Any thoughts?

At least for me, I didn't have to do anything, I just got on and continued where I left off on PS3.

Still can't get it to work.. Just started Portal 2 on my PS3 now and re-synced all my saves.

Could this synchronization of save games only work from PC to PS3 (that's not working either tho it seems), and not the other way around?

Actually it's only PS3 to PC. PC to PS3 isn't possible at all.

This. Mainly because the PC has the developer's console, which could allow you to severely screw up the game.

Then I should have no problem to sync my PS3 saves to my PC. I have tried several times, with no positive results..

I contacted steam support and this is what I got in return:

"Game saves and progress from a PlayStation® 3 are incompatible with other platforms (i.e. Windows or Mac). Steam Cloud data from a PlayStation® 3 can only be used with another PlayStation® 3 logged in to the same PSN ID."

There we have it...

Someone I was sure they told us we could continue playing on PC with our PS3 save file, apparently tho, I was wrong.

Damn. So, if I wanna get the Professor Portal Achievement now, I have to use the PS3? Cos on my PC, it says I haven't played many chambers.
