Don't know if this belongs here or not (News related)
I tried posting it on the Skyrim board but no luck there.
My "News" for Skyrim hasn't moved in ages. It's months old and regardless how many times I've restarted Steam or my computer it will not keep up to date. Unless I scroll down to click on "View All News" I don't get to see what's new. The last news update for it was 12/8/11 "Behold the Custom Etched Skyrim Controller" Is there any way to fix this? It's kind of annoying

Probably belongs in help and tips but no matter.
I suggest for you to clear out the cache folders for the browser. To do this, navigate to your Steam/config folder. On my Windows 7 machine it is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config Make sure the Steam client is not running. Then you can delete (back them up if you are worried) the following folders in the Steam/config directory: htmlcache cookies Start the Steam client. It should be running more smoothly and your News section should be updated. Good luck. |
