Can replicate here. It was this bad three betas ago, then was half fixed, and is now horrid again. Windows 7 64-bit on an AMD Phenom II X4; 8GB memory.

Somehow u shuld fix the time that the client needs to connect/log in and to log out from the/to the steam servers or so, becouse as i was done playing and quited the program(steam.exe) and after the need to play again i wanted to go back online then i always get this (there is another copy of steam running)


Then i thought at this

i went to logout and i had to wait at least 35 seconds to get logged out again.. and if i quit the program it takes a bit longet to sucssesfuly terminate the process..as there is it still running in the background..so if u want to start steam new u have to End process tree to be able to start it new (OR AS I SAID/TYPED LOG OUT WAIT 35SECONDS THEN IT GETS WITHOUT FORCING IT!)


PLEASE TO FIX

i know im not the only one with that issue (or at lease i hope d:D)

I actually found a work around for that, while it's verifying, go to your steam folder and launch something else, after that you can use pretty much everything in steam.

Is anyone else getting an HTTP 500 error when they try to access the "All Games" tab on their profile? I'm getting this problem regardless of whether or not I do it through a web browser or through the client.

I think it's due to whatever update was released yesterday, as everything worked fine when I was at work on my work machine and playing around with it, but when I got home and put the client on my home machine into beta this problem started occurring.

The two conditions for this to occur are 1) Steam client is running and 2) Steam client is using the Beta version.

Using latest beta and trying to register game keys give an error "The inserted key is wrong please check again", even used keys shown up as invalid, might want to give it a check.
