I just thought of an idea that would be pretty awesome.
When you start the editor and select New map, you will get to another menu where you can select if it should be co-op or not. After that you can also select: Normal style (GLaDOS style) Old style (Cave Johnson style) and Wheatly style. I think it would be really cool if we could make other maps than just the normal ones. What do you think? (sry for bad english, i'm from denmark) |

You can use the Portal 2 Authoring tools to do that...

Wheatley style also involves rooms crammed into each other at the start of the level.

A valve employee said that maps can be exported into Hammer to be given that different style.
Hopefully that feature will be added in the future as part of the editor, but for the time being, I don't think we'll be able to change it. |
