multiplayer server?

Does this game include a multiplayer server we can run on our own machines? I'm looking for a space game I can play with my friends and we want to run our own server - a feature that many games these days have turned their backs on.

I don't think the game design lends it'self to a dedicated server set up, if thats what you're asking. It's P2P hosting, and turn based.

You said "P2P" but you also said "hosting". Does you mean that our game clients directly and there is no 'server'? I really don't like games whose multiplayer mode only works on the publisher's own servers.

Too lazy to check but it most certainly will be player hosted servers. No dedicated tool however I'd suspect. The current menus for instance talk about inviting steam friends and "this player is the host". So that should tell you more than enough.
