ERROR: You must be connected to the internet to play multiplayer

Well guess what? I am connected. I also made an account and signed in, but the game still tells me that I'm offline. wtf?

Sometimes I get the message where it says it cannot access the twfc servers or whatever (most times after the game crashes and I try playing it again), even though it lets me log in and everything. I just can't access the multiplayer or escalation parts of the game.

The only fix for this I found is to reboot your whole computer, although I don't know if it would fix your problem, worth a shot though.

Let me know how it works.

I had this prob b4 i think. It has to do with yur internet settings. Turn off yur firewall for online gaming.

I'm experiencing the same problem. I've tried rebooting the computer and turning off the firewall but it was of no use.

i searched high and low if you have a cable modem you cant play

Multiplayer works with sandboxie! First download it here: http://www.sandboxie.com/ Then after running the programme, just click run in sandbox ---> run any programme in sandbox (not sure how it will be writte in the english version of programme, I bet something like this), then in the window of selecting the programme just input: steam://rungameid/42650 (steam will run Transformers: War for Cybertron).

Enjoy the multiplayer!

This has been a standard glitch for me since getting the game. I can usually get into a match after a while...sometimes a long while...just by logging in and out.

I tried everything except the sandbox thing up here, it's definitely broken.
I'll see if that sandboxie utility works

Even if i run stea with sandboxie i get the same error message
