Question Problem with stabby stabby script

It works perfectly, except from that, my crosshair, wont be changed. Atm i have crosshair2, and i want the little dot, crosshair 5. So how do I change it to crosshair 5?'

Here's the script:

// first you set up the colors and shapes/sizes you want the xhair to toggle through (cl_crosshair_file = type cl_crosshair_scale = size). Keep in mind that the base size of the crosshair varies depending on the weapon: //
// // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // //

//xhair TYPE toggle--switches crosshair type when shooting; good for preventing Amby xhair from expanding too large (uses my settings as an example). NOTE: Must be manually integrated with viewmodel scripts to work in conjunction.

alias dotxhairtype "dotxhairtypeb"

Are you using any other scripts?

This could go in the original thread, btw

What's a good value to set +skill to? I tried setting +skill to100000 but I still keep dying. I think my game is broken.

Try setting it to 1337.

Go to options then multi player then change the crosshair.

That would work right?

Code:
//xhair TYPE toggle--switches crosshair type when shooting; good for preventing Amby xhair from expanding too large (uses my settings as an example). NOTE: Must be manually integrated with viewmodel scripts to work in conjunction.
//================================================== =======
alias dotxhairtype "dotxhairtypeb"
alias dotxhairtypeb "cl_crosshair_file crosshair5;cl_crosshair_scale 14;alias dotxhairtype dotxhairtyper" // tweak crosshair_scale values to your liking
alias dotxhairtyper "cl_crosshair_file crosshair2;cl_crosshair_scale 22;alias dotxhairtype dotxhairtypeb"

bind mouse1 +crosshairfire
alias +crosshairfire "+attack;dotxhairtype;spec_next"
alias -crosshairfire "-attack;dotxhairtype"
//================================================== =======
is the problem, why not:

Code:
//xhair TYPE toggle--switches crosshair type when shooting; good for preventing Amby xhair from expanding too large (uses my settings as an example). NOTE: Must be manually integrated with viewmodel scripts to work in conjunction.
//================================================== =======
alias dotxhairtypeb "cl_crosshair_file crosshair5;cl_crosshair_scale 14" // tweak crosshair_scale values to your liking
alias dotxhairtyper "cl_crosshair_file crosshair2;cl_crosshair_scale 22"

bind mouse1 +crosshairfire
alias +crosshairfire "+attack;dotxhairtyper;spec_next"
alias -crosshairfire "-attack;dotxhairtypeb"
//================================================== =======
which makes it use crosshair 5 if not firing, and crosshair 2 if firing. swap the aliasnames if you want it vv.

I set it to 1337^1337, and suddenly, I started winning every game before they even started, and it won't go back! Halp!
(Seriously, I once won a game before it started. While we were waiting for the doors to open so we could get out, the cart started moving while no one was pushing it. We won before anyone could do anything but watch the thing go on its merry ways)

One day, a guy had typed "losing 0" on the enemy team in pipeline; our cart did a stunted front-flip and refused to budge for the remainder of the match.

I'm curious, how could this script be considered "cheating"?

I think you should report this to Valve, that people use "scripts". I would love to know how they feel about this...

Oh wai...

hey guys, stabby's scripts, in here : http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1591457, how do i use them? stick all of them in spy.cfg?

note that i currently have a custom spy script (slightly broken), and a default script for the rest of the classes.

example : i want to use the weapon disguise script with the no-gun viewmodel and fastswitch and mouse speed change script. how do i use them?

thanks!!!
