Is this a game worth buying?

I'm looking for a new game to purchase and saw Sniper Elite v2 on the front page of Steam and since I like sniper games, I thought I'll give it a go.

Not before I ask the community ofcourse. So, what do you think of the game?

It is a sweeeeeet game worth buying. If you like a different take on a shooter instead of the generic bs. And ofcourse the ww2 setting. I love it it has nice replayability. Nice co op stuff and mp. It's a bit buggy with graphical stutters and so son but you should buy it. IF you are into games like this.

I'd give the first full game, or the SEV2 DEMO a try first.

It's not a perfect game, but it's the best sniper game you can get. So if you like sniping, go for it Singleplayer is quite long if you play it stealthy (I currently have 11 hours and still 2-3 missions to go) and multiplayer is a lot of fun too.

At the current state of the game needing a patch. I say no. But when the game is smooth, yes its worth it.

There is no reason you can't go through the entire SP without any patches. Unless you're having major issues or really bad performance. But overall, at the very least the AI needs tweaking and the COOP/MP definitely needs a kick in the .

You will like this game if you want a completely linear game with only one possible outcome. The devs have created the illusion of an open-world...but it is not. I have played the SP game for a week now (about 10 hours) and I am completely bored to death.

I'd say the average distance for snipes is between 100-200 meters. That certainly doesn't seem like sniping to me. I could use my slingshot though from those distances......

I don't normally play 3rd person games, because they are clunky.

This a joy to play, still a bit clunky, but that is more me than the game.

GFX on the PC are superb and missions fun.

Deffo worth a buy.

I had one at one of the first levels you play. Srs it is possible. But didn't think of taking screenshot. On MP 350-400m kills happens quite alot aswell
