Adventurer

So I'm trying to do the adventurer campaign.
I have a small fleet and am at the point where I'm attacking
the third Pirate location early in the game.
I get that I need an economy to support my adventuring,
so I've got a couple of automated trade routes.
The money thing is going slowly, and meanwhile my reputation
with all nations just seems to be slipping away. Trading doesn't seem to be helping my reputation. When the reputation gets below 25%, I won't be able to trade, right? So, how do I keep my trading going, so that I can do the adventuring quests, while not losing reputation? I've done a couple of those "go get me this and that" jobs, and they help reputation a little. Should I just stop the main quest, divide up my fleet and do tons of "go get me this and that" jobs? Then return to the main quest line?
Also, I really don't know what I'm doing with trading. I've read some posts on this, and will keep trying to set up profitable routes, but it seems quite hit and miss.
Sorry for the ramble, and perhaps there is really more than one
topic in this post, but any help would be appreciated.

To gain reputation u need to get quest from town palace of that nation u want to get better rep. U must do it all the time. Example u have 6 fleets, 4 on trade routes to gain money. One for main line, one for quest rep. Manage 2 in same time is hmmm anoing ( bad english :P ). But it help alot with main when u get much of money and buy good ships like galeon or frigates

some basics on trading, I start in san juan because it has a nice cluster of nearby towns. Make sure your routes are not too long. try to start producing soemthing, again san juan is always looking for sugar so i get a couple of sugar plantations as soon as i can. sugar seems to come up in the mini quests all the time also. you an deliver 31 barrels of sugar to a town and get a 30000K bonus. i like the battles, but you do need to take a breather now and then and build the gold back up.

aandredoob, your rep will never go below 25% unless you attack one of the nations (or any nation if you don't have a letter of marque)
