Opinion on Taunting - Page 4

I don't really bother with taunts, though i still think that getting revenge on a Saharan Spy should earn you the merit of being able to teabag them.

I rarely taunt, only after really awesome or really funny kills. And when people taunt me, then I taunt them back.

When I receive a taunt, I take it as an invitation to 1v1. The next time I kill them, I taunt back to assert that ISS'ON!

I taunt all the time when playing Scout, Sniper, Pyro and Spy.

Scout: when I melee kill someone with pan *cough blind sniper cough* or just screwing around.

Sniper: I taunt because it makes other snipers rage and make them somehow more predictable.

Pyro: after killing Spy because that way I´ve noticed many of them just try to make revenge when that happens I leave them alone and come back to annoy them even more.

Spy: My favorite is to taunt after shooting Razorback sniper or it´s usually totally blind subspecies ShivMacRazor with revolver and ask them "How´s that Razorback working" or "That razorback surely save you from spy" etc. And I continue to do that and surprisingly often they get fed up and leave. Even though one of the best way to counter spy is to turn around every now and then.

Yea call me ♥♥♥♥♥♥-bag or MeanieMacMean but it sure is fun .

I always taunt on the last point, as long as I have a crowd of allies around.

Also, taunting as a heavy practically everywhere can be pretty tactical, seeing as everyone bumrushes me as soon as I hit G. The damage soak buys me some time and if I have a soldier or another revved heavy behind the enemies run blindly to me and get a face full of boolit. Keep the spin button down, taunt ends, all revved up, and now any lingering enemies are right in the face of your gun.

Taunt after the enemy wave for full effect.

I do taunt whenever i feel like. And i usually don't care about people taunting at me (It makes for interesting killcams for my collection)

I don't let it bother me.
I do it now and then just to see how people react, the annoying unskilled classes taunting that is.
Heck sometimes I do the high five taunt as a handwave-esque taunt, like "just saying hi" and whatnot.
It makes people about as angry as laughing at them.

Taunting is one of the many things I love about this game. Spamming Schadenfreude with 5 of your other teammates on a trade server is something money can't buy. Especially if all of you are a Spy, because let's face it:

Spy's Schadenfreude >>> The other classes Schadenfreude

Also, High Five. It is probably one of the greatest things Valve has ever put in the game

And I don't think I even have to bring up taunt kills... Who DOESN'T taunt kill as Heavy immediatly after they punch someone in the back with Holiday Punch?

I keep my Laugh Taunt on my Medic for when a Spy acts stupid next to me and get an ubersaw to the face. Also useful when pr0 demos panic and don't know what to do when I'm all up in their faces.

I don't have an opinion. I just dedicate the rest of my game to annoying the hell out of the person that taunted me. I will stalk them and make them my main priority and taunt them every time I kill them until I dominate them. I say things such as 'umad' for every time I get a kill on them. If they leave and I'm not satisfied, I go to their profile and see if they're still ingame, change name, join their server and repeat.

Shows them to taunt me.

In my opinion, I hate when people get a worthless kill and they taunt.
I only taunt when I get some cool and nice kill.
.....Aaand the most rewarding thing to do against who taunts is kill him and taunt back. HA!
