Taunts are an excellent aspect of the gameplay. They are amusing and fit well with TF2's style.

Yesterday I encountered a Pyro/Medic combo which had just activated ubercharge and rushed around a corner. After the first kill, the Pyro taunted. While ubered.

Amusement ensued.

They just add fun to the game. I myself only taunt when I get a funny/awesome kill, I know the guy I killed and I'm safe.
I just laugh in chat to people who taunt at me. If it's a random crit, and this happens often, I mention that it wasn't really worth a taunt.

Indeed. It's one of the few times I wish I could play Sniper even remotely well.

The best way to jarate off someone in this game is to taunt after every body shot.

Wear the halo, razorback and earbuds for extra lulz

Good for collecting although i dont really see it fit in a normal game
