Beta won't download completely

Hey, I just noticed that there's a Red Orchestra beta, so I went ahead and downloaded it because I wanted to see what will be getting fixed.

But the beta download gets stuck at exactly 4,960.5MB and the download doesn't want to finish.

What can I do about this?

We are looking into it and are contacting Valve.

Question

Any predictions on when the problem will be solved, can we expect anything today?

I wouldn't worry, there's nobody playing it anyway. As of right now there are 3 beta servers. One is passworded and all 3 are empty

Just managed to successfully download the beta. Seems like issue is therefor solved, thanks!

Jaded: I feel like the fixes might be what will make players return, I'm interested to see how much it improved.

edit: Oh yep, this still is RO2. I get greeted by music that can't be turned off.

Go to options / Audio and turn the music down to nothing.

Mike even when you place the slider all the way to nothing, you can still faintly hear music.

Even when I use the slider, the volume of music does not change at all ever since RO2 release.

We have switched to the new steam backend system as well as byte patching.
