Game breaking bug

Tried about 20 times, but my game always crashes on the same date. Looking around the internet other people have the same issue. I was about 10 hours into the game and then came the first crash....and then it just crashes again and again on that exact date...even though I select a save 2 years back in time and speed up to that date.

Anyone know if this is a recent patch problem? If it's not the game is pretty much ruined for me :/

Paradox offices are 500m from my own offices so maybe I should just stand out their office during lunch with a banner

Same here for me. It seems to occur since the last patch. Game always crash at june 2nd 1086, playing byzantine empire, it's very annoying !

happens to me as well in 3 different save games, really depressing since i just recently bought the game and have barely gotten 6 hours out of the paid copy. will probably stop playing until a patch fixes this.
