Anyone had luck on Centos 5?
Appears the glibc and libstdc++ versions (latter dependent upon former and on down the chain) are far too outdated. Downloading and starting a build of the newest gcc source went down in flames and (technical term) I'm really not wanting to build gcc to get the go server working anyway - anyone else run into this and think of a workaround other than changing the OS (Debian_flames > /dev/null ).

Found a better fix (OP's fix will only work until the next steamcmd update is released):
-Change your IE proxy settings to "automatically detect proxy settings" -Change IE security settings to medium if they are set on medium-high. |
