portal 2 graphics problem

i didn't know where to put this, so i'm putting it here in hope for an answer.

ever since the "perpetual testing initiative" came out, my graphics have been screwing up. i'll link an image: here.

i've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and altered the graphic settings in-game. both didn't work. i was wondering if there is a possible fix for this, and i apologize if this is in the wrong forum. thanks.

Do you have the latest drivers installed for your graphics card?

i am having the same problem with all the games in steam..i was told maybe my video card is dying...but now i see im not the only one with this problem..so maybe my card isnt dying..unless you wanna check if its dying or not.

Well, it is a place for the posting of problems. So yes, it could be.

For some reason I just don't think that's so in this case.

yeah, my graphics card is updated. last time it wasn't, portal 2 didn't even open. i'll see if my video card is dying, maybe. it was working fine before, even though the max i could run it on was medium. now i can't even run it on low without it freaking out.

i have this problem with atleast team fortress 2. I also have gained 20 more celsius over the last few days, so it could be over heating and it is, I am going to change the thermal paste and I recommend anyone with this problem do this if their temperatures are really high.
