So I bought Diablo 3

And Torchlight 2....... How will I ever have the time to play them both!!!

Couldn't resist I've seen a bunch of D3 hate and Tl2 hate and honestly they are both good.... Though I think when Gw2 comes out I'm going to be playing that more then these 2.

All i have to say is that aren't releasing at the same time. Maybe you will be burnt out on Diablo 3 by the time Torchlight 2 comes out.

when you find out that in D3 the in game auction house for real money has ruinned the trade and economy and players who suck but have cash will be wearing the best gear without the experience and ability gained from earning it you'll have more time that or the insane farming that will be going on.

Let me get this straight. just for reference. You will ban for mods. i need an internet connection even for "single player",nothing has been added other then rehashed WoW Systems. plus, And i have this issue with BF3 AND MW3.... i have to pay for the game. on top of this i can pay money i can get godlike items (Which alot of people i know will do) in game in place of ACTUALLY earning them,Blizzard is running low on ideas and has to kill the entire concept of a "game" with pay to win features.......... this isint an online game. its a voluntary semi-MMO if you want to play well. youll most likely NEED to use the shop at some points. even an F2P game gives this much straight up and dosent sneak it in :/

I expect no less from Activision.

The game is an insult to the Diablo name.

Sometimes it's hard to believe many people are buying into this defecation.

World of Diablo. Pay $60, then P2W, then lag and DC while in SP.

Imagine if EVERY game did this.
I'd find a new damn hobby.

Oh, man, after seeing posts like these for almost a year I've grown from very disappointed to extremely happy that Blizzard decided to make the game always online. To think that there would be a community filled with scrubs like you.

So care to explain how having over the top DRM as being a good thing? Not to mention a Pay to Win auction house. If that doesn't scream Chinese item farmers and abuse/scamming in the making I don't know what will.

That's easy. You'll play Diablo 3 first, and then play Torchlight 2 when you don't have access to fast internet or when Battlenet servers are down or lagging.

Y'know, the DRM'll keep the cheaters out. So THAT way, the only cheaters are going to be the fools with money. There's literally no damn difference between DRM-Free/RMAH-Free and DRM/RMAH other than Craptivision makes a fat cut whilst crapping on their consumers by killing mods and offline play. Not to mention D3 is a pile a crap to begin with compared to what it could have been.

I feel like I need to say crap one more time. So crap.
DRM+RMAH is a pretty brilliant scam. I'll give it that.

You are right on the cheaters part. D2 has like 2 good mods and even that's a stretch.

RMAH only legitimizes what players were already going to do and did in the past. If you can't see that through your blind nerd rage I don't know what to say.

Legitimized for what reason? The sake of PVP? It'll be broken with or without cheaters thanks to RMAH.

You can call it legit all you want. Legitimized cheating is still cheating and it won't make for a better experience. It's in there for the money. If you can't see that it's in there exclusively for the money, then I don't know what to say.

Legitimized so you don't have to go to shady websites and get scammed or not get the item you want. You getting upset over "the money" part of it is just silly. That's like me selling you a nice house with a money tree in the backyard, the only catch is you have to pick from it on a 2 foot step-stool and i take a 15% cut. You are mad again, why? Because blizzard is making money off of their game? Grow up, dude.

The anger shines through your words so hard.

edit: pvp - there is a hidden rating system, so you are matched with players of equal gear and it also depends on how good you do. You are just fear mongering.

Hatred for Activison Blizzard aside, they're both shaping up to be great games, for different reasons. If you don't want one, don't buy it; if you get both, then great, you can enjoy both.
