[BUG] black screen when obtaining achievements

Hi. Just started this game and whenever i get a steamachievement the screen gets overrided with a blackscreen or sometimes even a loading screen image. I can press escape to pause so I won't die or whatnot, but it is kinda annoying ;p am i the only one?

Hi,
This is rather a Steam issue than game issue.
Please update Steam client and graphics drivers, that should do the thing.

I've got the same issue. Just updated Steam yesterday and have the latest drivers that came out earlier this month.

I just pause when it happens.

So there's some type of issue with this game and the Steam overlay, buck passing and saying it is a steam issue probably isn't the best way to be supportive. Good to see devs engage nonetheless.

How can I help then? We're unable to reproduce the bug.
It happened on 2 PCs out of thousands. Looks like in very rare situations the overlay won't let you go back to the game smoothly and it is not related to the game itself.

But anyway, let's try to track it down. What GPU do you use?

Right now I'm using two 6850s. This honestly isn't a big deal to me as I just pause the game when it happens. I was honestly commenting more towards the brush off you gave to the OP.

It's cool to see devs involved. More cool when they want to learn more about the issue and try to resolve it.

Cool game, very impressed with the innovation. I dig it.

If you can fix the issue or find the cause, cool beans. If not, meh.

Well, the first link says at least that re-booting Steam solved the problem

I did some SLI trials and looks like it works fine, so I guess the bug is caused by the game not working well with overlay when there are 2 ATI cards on board. We're gonna look into it as soon as we can get our hands on some crossfire device.
Sorry for the inconvenience. (and not snarky at all, or at least trying not to be...)
